Mount Joy

Mount Joy and the townships around it give us a lot of exterior work: farmhouses, garages, sheds, long runs of fence, and porches that have been through more than one Pennsylvania winter.

Big exterior surfaces need honest advice about what's worth coating. We tell you when a board should be replaced instead of painted, and we price the repair before we price the paint.

Fence and deck staining is a large share of what we do here. Cleaning and brightening the wood, then waiting for the moisture to come down, is the difference between a finish that lasts and one that peels next spring.
